Woke up late? Here’s a few easy tricks you can try to hide your tired look & leave your house looking fresh and awake!
1) White Pencil
Apply this on the inner corners of your eyes and it will create an illusion that the eyes are opened and wider looking. If you want, you can also outline the entire waterline as well as your tightline for a more noticeable effect.
2) White Eyeshadow
Not into the pencil? Apply white eyeshadow to your lids focusing on the inner corners for the same effect.
3) Red Lipstick
Red lipstick instantly brightens up a face. Picking the right red is key. Apply a lip liner (optional, but preferred) as this will prevent the lipstick from bleeding. Next apply the red lipstick following the natural lip shape.
This look can be worn with or without eye makeup and if you wear glasses, that adds to the flare.
4) Highlighting or shimmer powder
Apply this to the bridge of your nose and the apples of your cheeks. The subtle shimmer will cause the light to reflect off your face giving it a glowing appearance.
5) Eyelash Curler
Curling your eyelashes is like opening the curtains of the window. Instantly you will look more awake just from one simple step.
You don’t need to do all of these to achieve the desired look. Mix and match and find what works for you.
